The Art of Coastal Luxury: Creating My Signature Pieces for the Villas

When I imagined the design of Turquoise Oasis and Coral Reef, I knew I wanted the decor to feel personal , not just styled, but curated with intention and heart. That’s why some of my favorite pieces in the villas are the ones I made myself.

🐚 Shell-Encrusted Mirrors: A Labor of Love

The finished product

What started as a simple idea, to create mirrors that reflected the beauty of the sea , turned into a months-long labor of love. I used hundreds of hand-picked shells, each carefully placed and glued using a strong, permanent adhesive that takes time to fully cure.

How it all started…
Another XL project, because I love to challenge myself

The detail makes all the difference

This wasn’t a fast process. I had to be patient, letting each section set before moving on. But it was worth every moment.

The result? Stunning, one-of-a-kind mirrors that shimmer with texture, warmth, and a touch of ocean magic.

🎨 My First Resin Art… in XL Size

I’ll admit, resin art was new territory for me. But instead of starting small, I dove in (headfirst!) with two massive 48” x 96” wall pieces. It was exciting… and honestly, a little nerve-wracking.

Resin can be unpredictable, it sets quickly, bubbles form, and there’s no going back. But I wanted something bold and beautiful to anchor the villas’ open living spaces. With a mix of coastal hues, movement, and texture, these two pieces now bring depth and serenity to the walls, and I couldn’t be more proud of how they turned out…imperfection and all.

This is how it started

Painting the sky, lots of trial and error

Starting to take shape

Trusting the process, but I am so nervous because these are my first resin art and I decided to go big.

🐚 Shell Aquariums: Coastal Calm, No Maintenance Required

Inspired by the rhythm of the ocean, I also created two shell aquariums, clear glass tanks filled with artfully arranged sea treasures. No water, no fish, just pure visual calm. They’re a quiet nod to the sea, designed to evoke that peaceful, meditative feeling you get while beach-combing.

Every piece I created is more than just decor, it’s a part of the story behind these villas. They represent the care, creativity, and love poured into every detail of the space. My hope is that when you walk in, you’ll feel it, and feel instantly at home.

Thank you for letting me share a little of the process. I can’t wait for you to see them in person.

With love 🩵
